This term the year 4 have been studying
Abstract Art. We learnt about the life and art of Wassily Kandinsky and Piet
Mondrian.
For Kandinsky, we studied the painting
“Squares with Concentric Circles” and we made bookmarks inspired by this work.
We then explored our creativity further
by producing free work in the style of Kandinsky.
For Mondrian, we studied his work and
produced our own dynamic mobiles in his style.
We are little Abstract artists!
